Shoppers in the north-east will have one more thing to celebrate at Christmas time next year.
The new Seletar Mall will open by December next year, in time for the festive season, said developers Singapore Press Holdings and United Engineers yesterday.
Apart from six floors of shopping, visitors will be able to enjoy the mall's lush greenery and unique triangular-shaped design offering three entrances: from Fernvale LRT station, from the corner junction of Fernvale Road and Sengkang West Avenue, and from Sengkang West Avenue.
The eco-friendly mall will feature LED lights, lifts and escalators with a sleep mode function, and carbon monoxide sensors in the carpark to regulate mechanical ventilation.
